A Two-Stage PV Accommodation Optimization in Jinzhai County, Anhui Province with Hydropower as Stand-By Unit

In respond to the national “Photovoltaic Poverty Alleviation” and renewable energy accommodation policy, this paper proposes a two-stage PV optimization strategy based on improved PSO, forecast, hydropower dispatch tackle with instability caused by distributed PV, since Jinzhai County, Anhui Province has both sufficient photovoltaic. first stage, reserve capacity of each period next day is optimized according forecast. second real-time online carried out using operation data determine amount power generated source during period. Finally, verified simulations grid in Jinzhai, comparison made thermal standby unit. The results show that units which higher climbing rate can immensely increase photovoltaic consumption, reduce loss enhance voltage stability network.
